| Mary Amanda Gordon Born Feb. 26, 1904 The daughter of Edward & Fannie Porter Gorden, and wife of Bennett Gordon. Miss Bobbie, as she was called by her friends, loved Auburn. At her death, she gave to the town $175,000 to be used on the new addition to McCutchen-Coke Park. She also gave $175,000 to Shakertown and the same amount to her sorority at U. of K. |
