Gwendolyn Hayes Porter and her brother Vernon Porter, both born and raised in Auburn.  Vernon lived near Auburn on a farm until his death around 1997.  Gwendolyn married James Woodrow Hayes in 1940, moved to Russellville and then to Louisville, where she lived until her death around 2001.  This photo was contributed by Joyce Torcini, daughter of Gwendolyn.
